CATEGORIES OF DIFFERENT CLASSES

  1. Yoga Technical Classes Analysis of asanas, pranayama, kriyas, bhandhas,mudras with its name, background, steps, limitation,common mistakes,application, benefits ,modifications,variations, coutra indications ,curative values for therapy, way of sequence formation etc.

  2. Yoga Training Classes Includes practise of all yoga techniques - Asanas, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, different school of Sun Salutations and Moon Salutations, Yoga Therapy sessions,pre-natal yoga, advance yoga courses, etc., with demonstration,observation, style,corrections,different yoga sequence formation.

  3. Yoga Anatomy and Physiology Classes Study of human body(cells and tissues,skin, bones, joints, muscles,respiratory system,circulatory system,digestive system,excr -etory system etc)from medical and yoga point of view.

  4. Yoga Philosophy and Ethics Classes It includes study of (Astanga Yoga-8limbs)yoga scriptures(yoga sutra),life of a yogi, principles of yoga, yoga in education (physical Education, and values) panchakosha , panchaprana, chakras ,ethics for yoga teacher,classroom environment,different streams of yoga etc.

  5. Yoga Practical Classes Students should assist the classes led by the main teacher and also teach by themselves(4 classes) and 4 classes for row beginners. This is expression and application of their comprehension and skill.

  6. Seve yoga /Karma yoga Classes The students have to help to run the yoga school which includes office work,organisation and public relations(to get administrative knowledge) Seva is serving others and helping others with compassion, serving not for personal gratification but to up lift others. Seva is an offering with best thoughts,sympathy and compassion without others force(individually or ingroups).

  7. Yoga Meditation and Relaxation Classes Includes study of different school of meditation .Students can apply any one of the meditation which is suitable for them.During training students should study atleast 5 meditation techniques.Infuture students can apply suitable meditation technique to their students. Different kinds of relaxation techniques are included which are discovered from different yoga research centers. Active shavasana, Instant relaxation technique ( IRT),Quick Relaxation technique (QRT), Deep Relaxation technique (DRT), Kayosarga shwas Preksha , sharira preksha (body),Chaitanya kendra preksha (psychic centers), Leshya dhyan (psychic colours) Bhavana (Auto Suggestion), Anupreksha(Contemplation),Yoga nidra,belly breathing(abdomen) etc.

  8. Self Practise Classes Includes study of different school of meditation, study of different yoga systems , great indian yoga guru's , different yoga books, sharing knowledge , discussion , case study etc.Students should study themselves as the direction of the Guru.

  9. Yoga Activities Classes Includes teaching of Krida yoga(for children), talent expression,creative work,yogic games, cultural programmes like bhajanas , chanting , drama , roleplay, drawing of yoga postures and concepts,yoga practise in deep forest, on stone , holy places (temple) yoga trip, tree climbing, hill climbing,stone climbing,swimming, water playing etc(no compulsion).

    Students should observe and assist at least 8-10 classes.They should acquire basic skills and confidence to teach in the class.They should have knowledge thoroughly about the principles of demonstration,instructions, corrections etc.Students should teach at least 1 hour weekly with the supervision of main teacher and eventually unsupervised.

    During TTC

    Anatomy and physiology will be handeled by doctor. Students will have clear picture about human body with specimens or without specimens (in somecase). Doctor will give clearcut directions to handle patients and complications that take place in the classroom from the medical point of view. Yogataecher will analyse indian anotomy,human body from the yogic point of view. During teacher training students will have knowledge about requirements of yoga teacher,presentation of the teacher,some advice on demonstration, presenting an asana, verbal instructions, organisation of the class,observation of student's breathing-body,precision in teaching etc
    Students will gain knowledge about all 8 limbs of the yoga, different schoool's of yoga system (BKS iyengar,Shivananda (Kerala) , Swami Ramdev Maharaj, RaviShankar Guruji, Ashtanga Vinayasa,Artistic yoga,Vasista yoga,Hatha yoga,Swami Vivekananda Kendra, and different yoga Ashrams and universities of India) .Students can learn around 200 asanas and around 20 pranayama from different schools and system.

    The following foundation Asanas will be taught in detail with limitations, Benefits, Techniques, etc. along with 23 basic set of Asanas from which all sets of Asanas are generated originally
